New Beginnings

Well, I guess, since I haven't blogged in over two years, the powers that be decided to delete my last blog account without notification.  So, I will stop crying, pull up my big girl pants (as Kristin would say), and start over.  We are down in Southern California now due to a job change for Russell.  He is now the Environmental Compliance Director for Shea Homes.  Pretty awesome! I am so proud of him and all he has accomplished.  We are finally settling in to life down in Southern California, but I doubt we will be here for long.  It's just too hard being away from friends and family.  And the services down here for adults with special needs stinks!!!  I feel fully confident that their needs are being taken care of at school; but there is nothing after high school for them.  So, fear not (or fear, whatever the case may be), the Fosters will be back in Northern California in a couple years!
